Isabelle Gates

We welcome the newest member of the pack, Isabelle Gates. Our friends Katie and Caleb's daughter was born Sunday. Carter has been anxiously awaiting her arrival! It is so hard for me to believe that Carter was that size when he was born. What a beautiful and sweet baby!

Mexico

Cory and I had a wonderful trip to Mexico. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We didn't get many pics, and the ones we took doesn't do it justice. The weather was great and, of course, we got cooked. It was well worth it, though. Pawpaw and Nana were gracious enough to come and babysit again. Although, I don't think they considered it work.

You can see the damage to the dock from the hurriane and the sandbags that are rebuilding the beach.

Thanks to the Trusty's we have our first video on the blog! Too bad he's almost too big for the jumper...it keeps us, as well as him, entertained.

Our Precious Guest

We had a great time with the Trusty's this weekend! Boy are our visits different now...but in a good way. Those are two funny babies. I hope Carter didn't teach her any bad habits! I hoped Morgan would tell Carter about sleeping through the night, but it didn't work!

6 months

Carter was six months on Friday. He loved his present from Pawpaw and Nana. Let's pretend he's really reading the cover and not trying to eat it! We had his checkup today and he weighs almost 21 pounds and is 27 inches. That's 90th percentile in weight and 76th in length!

I don't know if you can see it, but believe me, it's there. He has chomped my finger more than once! It had cut before I left, and had grown in so much by the time I got back. I have a feeling the other one is coming soon!

NYC

We had a wonderful girls trip to New York!

Carter enjoyed spending quality time with his grandparents. I was able to enjoy myself know that he was in great hands(even if it meant a little spoiling!). Unfortunately, I came home to him having the stomach virus and Cory and me to follow. All the grandparents have also had it, but everyone is much better now.
