The past week

Papaw and Uncle Nate came to visit!

I put Carter down for a nap yesterday, and I heard him jabbering...this is how I found him. Needless to say, we lowered the crib last night. Now every time I put him on his stomach on the floor, he sits up. This may delay our crawling a bit.

Carter has got all the moves to crawl, but he just can't put them all together. We're doing alot of belly flops right now.

We enjoyed a visit from the Pooles. The dads were playing in a golf tournament.

Latest Trick

I don't think you can appreciate how funny this was by the pictures. He sat there with that thing in his mouth forever and kept it in there while he played. We have tooth #3 coming in. I knew by the way he's been acting that he was about to cut one, so I kept looking at the top since he has two bottom teeth. However, I saw yesterday that another bottom tooth is coming in...so that will be 3 on bottom and none on top. Let's hope it starts to even out before he starts looking like a gramps!

Isabelle Gates

We welcome the newest member of the pack, Isabelle Gates. Our friends Katie and Caleb's daughter was born Sunday. Carter has been anxiously awaiting her arrival! It is so hard for me to believe that Carter was that size when he was born. What a beautiful and sweet baby!

Mexico

Cory and I had a wonderful trip to Mexico. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We didn't get many pics, and the ones we took doesn't do it justice. The weather was great and, of course, we got cooked. It was well worth it, though. Pawpaw and Nana were gracious enough to come and babysit again. Although, I don't think they considered it work.
